26 on the 26th!

Thats right. Josh is 26! I felt like such a bad wife, because his birthday was the Monday after thanksgiving, but also the same week as my cardiology, parasitology, and exotics finals. He had a small taste of birthday when mom brought him a present at Thanksgiving, which was very fitting seeing how Josh was born on Thanksgiving day, but it was no party. He was a good sport and was patient with me, and we finally celebrated his birthday last Friday night. I made Taco Bake (his fave dish!) and a super delicious cake -with sprinkles for me. I am thankful for him :)

TDAY 2007

Since I have 4 finals in 1 week, Josh and I could NOT make the trip to Arkansas for Thanksgiving. Soooooo, Mom and dad came down to Baton Rouge!! Stacey and Craig also came over to share family time. We all split the cooking duties, and I made the annual Thanksgiving Trivia game. Stacey won!! (Josh really won, but the prize was a Snickers bar that needed to be gone!)

Josh was sweet and helped me set the table. I wish I took a picture of it.... It was in the shape of a T (two rectangle tables together), and we didn't quite have enough chairs so since Josh and I were the hosts we sat in our tailgating chairs!!! It was quite the set up.

Like I said before, we all split up the cooking duties. Mom actually ended up taking over my culinary responsibilities and let me study.

The boys, on the other hand, had a nice time watching TV. I must give them credit though. They had a sincere thank you ready for us when it was time to eat. Boys, you're welcome.

Well, we only had 2 tickets to the Arkansas/ LSU game. Originally they were for Mom and Dad, but Mom gave hers up to Josh could go. Isn't she sweet!? We had a good time watching it on TV and wondering how the boys must be feeling now that we BEAT LSU!!!!!!!

Love those Hogs!

Josh and I made a spontaneous trip back to Arkansas for one Razorback football game this year. No, we didn't win.... but Josh and I sure enjoyed being back with everyone! We went to dinner at Wasabi with Suz and John and the gang.

Halloween!!

We went as the cast from saved by the bell for Halloween this year. The first picture was our getting ready/ dinner party at our apartment. You can see Mr. Belding, Kelly Kapowski, Screech, and Jessie Spano. Brendon was a scary person.

This picture includes more of the cast: Zack Morris and AC Slater. Goooo BAYSIDE!

We had a pumpkin carving night. Craig made the cat-werewolf. Stacey made Billy-Bob-Joe-Fred (or whatever his name ended up to be!), Josh made the scary mad face, and I made the newlywed pumpkin.

One of the guys from our class dressed up as the man from the game Operation. It was HILARIOUS! He actually had the little tongs that you were to use to choose an organ. Here is Stacey trying to do just that.....

The O'Neal Home

We packed the truck FULL (this isnt even when we've finished). Then Josh and I drove the UHaul truck to Baton Rouge... it was a cramped drive, but we made it fun! We let our mothers ride in the Tahoe behind us.

Josh put some muscle into our new apartment. He worked really hard making sure everything looked perfect.

Mom and Leslie were SUCH a big help too. They helped to get the decorations in all the right places.

now for the TOUR

the KITCHEN
I like to cook when I have the time. That's usually 3 or 4 times a week, leaving the other nights up to leftovers. Josh is a great help though. He helps me cook and wash the dishes.

the DINING AREA
This is where Josh and I eat our dinner every night. Tini's bowls are just to the left of the table. She likes to eat when we eat

the GUEST BATHROOM
When we have guests, this is the guest bathroom.
Every other time it's Tini's bathroom.

the GUEST BEDROOM
The desk area is also known as my "hole" where I lock myself up and study for hours on end. Blah.

the LIVING ROOM
There is a really nice porch just to the right of that couch. Right now the weather is so nice I like to leave the door open and let Tini run in and out.

the MASTER BEDROOM
This is the master bedroom. We had to get SUPER dark curtains, because the sun likes to come in so bright and so early.... even though I get up at 6 anyway. Tini has her own little bed that matches mom and dad's big bed. She doesn't really like to use it though.

This is Tini's Bed!! Dad puts her in her bed every night. She stays for probably 10 minutes, then we hear her dart out of the room , as if we were close behind and chasing her!

the MASTER BATHROOM
This is my most favorite bathroom I have ever had. You can't tell it from the picture, but the shower is HUGE. We have double sinks, one sink for Josh and I and one sink for Tini. She enjoys playing in the water faucet.

Thanks for touring our home! I promise to try to update this often. :)
